"The Story of Holy Week"

Kristine's Comments:  "'The Story of Holy Week' is a one of a kind Easter cantata that I have written for my bells.  For one thing, it's a 50 minute handbell solo.  As far as I know there's not another one in the world.  It's also an exciting new way to hear the Greatet Story Ever Told.  It comes with a booklet that you can follow, and share the story with others, but it's truly the music that tells the story--not the booklet.  An emotional, highly meaningful program, "The Story of Holy Week" is more like a sermon than a concert.  I just love to play it in the spring!"

Kristine's Comments:  "I have dedicated this CD to my mom because she is my piano teacher and was always very big on our music education.  All these pieces were things I played on the piano, music I heard as a child...all of them made some kind of impression on me at a very young age.  These are the pieces that I turned into handbell solos when I started ringing.  Get ready for a few surprises.  'Theme and Variations on Chopsticks' is a real show stopper.  And because mom loves the patriotic tunes, I've put two of her favorites at the end as a bonus section."

"The Joybell Show"

Kristine's Comments:  "We filmed TJS at the Joybell Theater in Nashville.    It's my 60 minute Christian variety program from 2007.  Of course I have hymns, as well as classical, patriotic, and fun tunes.  "Mame" is a handbell duet that mom and I play together on the bells.  Totally fun.  And the big finale is "The Hallelujah Chorus", which will knock you right off your chair.   We had four cameras, and all kinds of lighting and sound equipment.  The editor did a wonderfully artistic job of assembling it, and the sound and picture are teriffic.  I'm very proud of the DVDs!"
